The House of Gemini | for

[Author's note: Another AU]
~
Through the ages, wars broke out between humankind, and wars are the result of mankind's greed and corruption. Whenever the seed of evil began to flourish, hope appears as soldiers known as Saints began organized to intervene and stop wars and restore peace for nations. Saints are men and woman chosen by the Gods to serve them as their soldiers to end the bloodshed that disrupts the flow of life.
One such a Goddess is Athena and her saints, and their mission whenever human were plunged into chaos and anarchy is to restore law and order to bring the peace and protect humanity. On the Top of her hierarchy of soldiers is Her Gold Saints, 12 to correspond to the house of the 12 zodiacs. The Gold Saints use the power of the Cosmos to avert disaster and change the course of human history.
Saga and Kanon lived in the house of Gemini, one of the 12 temples in the Sanctuary. It's built and located on the low level of the mountain that oversees the entire village at the ground level of the Sanctuary, giving a good view of Greece. Their house was split into two wings, East and West, with Kanon lived in the East, facing the sea, and Saga lived in the West, facing the mountains and hills, and where the sunsets.
The crackdown began in short order. Where there is evil, lawlessness, and crime, they fight it to make sure justice prevail. Criminals were brought in for judgment and imprisoned for their crimes. It's one step toward achieving peace and justice for all.
During the warring campaign, Saga and his brother Kanon crack down the slave trade and freed the slaves, liberating them. At that time, when slavery is close to be illegal and the slave traders fought Athena's army very hard to keep in business, then the knights appeared to punished the sellers to dish out due justice and abolish the market in that area. Though for some slaves, where they had nowhere else to go, others are young and orphaned to fend for themselves as their original homeland were presumably lost, destroyed in the wars. The only few solutions left (with Athena's permission) is for the knights to adopt some orphans as to work as home servants in their homes or placed them in villages who are willing to care for the orphans after the wars ended and peace is secured.
During the war over the years, they took home displaced children and orphans, where they lost everything and separated from their families or to be sold as slaves as they cracked down the slave trade and stopped it. They found them over the course of their travels and care for them in their home. The brothers split among themselves who cares for them, who trains them to be house servants or bodyguards or those who desired to be saints they assigned to teachers, and it is so with their little makeshift family, where the servant worked between the two wings for their masters. After the war, the brother continued their lives in peace while serving Athena and raising the displaced orphans in peace.
One particular servant Saga cared for and cherished greatly is the heron girl he rescued and found during his campaign. She was young and an orphan when he found her, almost sold to be a pet and plaything for that purpose. While the rest of the servants had grown-up, many already left their house to start their lives over, only Leanne remained in his house.
One of his favorite activities is to enjoy the afternoon tea with her, made from the herbs and berries found in the mountains and forests nearby that surrounds the sanctuary. After a busy day, studying in his library to be a diplomat and represent of Athena and her laws, he went to the dining area close to the kitchen to see what Leanne's up to.
