Saga was a feral stray wolf. His life started living out in the streets, fending for himself alone as an orphan as his family was long gone. That is until his life changed when he was found heavily injured in a backyard belonging to a human, and after that human showed him a loving kindness he never though existed in humans before until now, and on that night, a decision is made and she become his owner.

In the few weeks that he stayed with her, Leanne took a chance and she changed him and he was transformed. From a wolf who is barely recognizable in a tangled mess of fur and hair, with love and care thanks to Leanne, from the visits to the vet to get him healthy again, and then being styled by a groom to sort out his thick hair and mane, and now his mane of hair and fur began to have a shine and healthy glow. Then he began to eat to yummy meals and have a healthy diet of meats, and going on walks when she can manage, he become a handsome, healthy wolf, strong and lean, strong enough to even chase away the racoons thieves that ravaged her backyward.

By the end of the month, he becomes her pet for good as he's the sweetest wolf he can be. He was collered with a metal name tag to show he is owned by a human. In the beginning, he looked scary due to living on the cold street for so long, but with the change, he kept her warm on her bed when she allows him, protected her using his strength, and stayed by her side when she needed him.

There isn't much he wanted, as he likes being fed, a warm house, a soft couch to sleep on, and greeting his owner each night she came home, and hopefully tonight is the night she take him for a walk, or if she's too tired, make time for playtime and pamper time, since he's growing to used to her affections. Although he's a wolf, bigger than a dog, he's becoming a very big dog as he learns to be tamed like one.

The TV is on, as he's learning to watch a few interesting shows to learn human speech properly, but he didn't quite get the hang of it. He was waiting for the couch, waiting for her return from work. Any minute now, the door will open, she'll come home, his tail wagging eagerly...

Who would have thought that the scary feral wolf who came into her home a few week would have turned into quite the handsome and sweetest pet that she ever could have known. She had spent so much money on him, trying to get him healthy again as well as properly groomed so he could look his best.

She made sure to praise him whenever they went to the vet and had to deal with getting shots, medication and in general a full out check up to make sure that he was completely healthy again, and not to bite either the vet or the poor vet techs dealing with him. It was starting to feel like a old memory that fateful night as he grew stronger and healthier again.

There were a few visits to the groomers during this period to help get his fur and mane under control and during the last visit, after he got the clean bill of health, she made sure to order him a spa treatment. There he was, he was finally looking his best and all the work the previous few weeks made it all worth while at how happy he looked.

Who could have thought that such a sweet wolf was so handsome. Her brothers did visit at least once during the few weeks to see just what is this feral stray their sister picked up. Rafiel being happy that she got a nice looking pet while Reyson was definitely showing just how overly protective he was of Leanne.

The following days were almost blissful, she had a new companion and protector. Not only to chase off the wild racoons but also any man who decided to follow her home after taking him on a walk. Leanne was feeling safer with Saga around and more and more, was allowing him the privilege of sleeping with her on the bed instead of the couch.

This night, she was just a little late before the all too familiar sound of her car could be heard driving up the drive way and then the garage door opening and closing. After a few moments, the door into the house opens and she is carrying bags of groceries. "Saga, I am home! I brought home dinner tonight. Sorry I was a little late."

She was a little tired but still, walking is good for both her and him, but especially him. "We can have dinner either before or after the walk."

It's a lot of work, but he wants to make sure her efforts on him is worth it. He becomes so grateful to her, that he begins recognized her voice, her scent, and following her at her heels like a good obedient dog, and wagging his tail happily when she's near. He stayed still during the vet visits, but getting the shots and vaccines are compared to nothing than being bitten by those raccoon scoundrels that sniffed and robbed the neighborhood trash for food every night.

He was such a handsome wolf, and he did his job protecting her, that getting praised by her picky family is an accomplishment. Even her co-workers teased her that he looks really good, almost like a model on those pet person magazines and whenever Leanne show photos of her new pet at work, that they wondered what kind of type of girl he'll be into and if she ever going to breed him if she ever considers it.

His sensitive hearing picks up the familiar sound of her car being driven over the paveway and the sound of the garage door being opened, and her parking her car for the night. Sensing her, he came over tail wagging.

"Welcome home, Leanne...I miss you very much." He sniffed at the food in the grocery, and something smells good. Even if isn't cooked yet. "That smells good. What's for dinner tonight?" He hopes its succulent meat, as it's becoming his favorites.

Shaking his head, giving her that worried look. "If you're tired, you can rest and sleep. Let's walk tomorrow morning." He said, all smiles and wagging his tail.

At the teasing of her co-workers, she would always blush and quickly dismiss the fact about breeding him. It was a thought that never really crossed her mind as she was still new to being a pet owner. She always relayed to him some of the teasings that her co-workers gave her, leaving out the breeding part but keeping in the part about what type of girl he would be interested in.

She... She really couldn't believe just how handsome he was. She was starting to feel inferior to him and felt grateful that he picked her to be his owner.

A soft giggle left her as he did his usual greetings. "Pasta for me and a nice ribeye steak for you, my handsome wolf." Might as well up his pride level for his looks and confidence.

She blinks at his worried look and she reaches over, standing on her tiptoes to pet the top of his head. "We can still take a short walk tonight. It is a nice night outside." Though morning walks are tempting. Especially since with those, she puts on a pair of roller blades and just hangs onto the leash for him to walk and run as much as he likes. "It really won't be a problem tonight unless you don't want to."

Up until now, he never mentioned what kind of girl she likes. He always mentioned the different types of meat he likes. From medium-rare to sweet honey barbeque, or dipping the meat in teriyaki sauce, or meat drenched in mushroom creme. His mouth is watering now, because of the hunger pangs. He was so used to being hungry that he's looking at the bag and can eat it.

"Mmm, ribeye steak." He wags his tail and then rubs his head against her hand. Part of his wolf nature acknowledges that she is a charge of him. "Okay, I want to take a walk with yooou~" He whimpers, and since there's a full moon tonight, it's hard to resistant not to howl.

"Leanne, it's up to you. If you're tired, I'll be happy to watch a movie with you." And take the opportunity to curl up on her lap on her bed. Those movies she watches are interesting stories.

She never pried about the type of girl he likes, it wasn't really any of her concerns. Should he mentioned about becoming lonely then she will pry. She giggles at the sight of his mouth watering and shakes her head. "You have to wait for it to cook. You have been such a good boy that you deserve such a treat."

And okay, that little whimper and howl was so cute! He was far too cute sometimes and she moves her hand to start rubbing at his ears. "Let me make dinner then we can go on a walk. Even just a short one." Luckily the meals just required simple heating up so it wouldn't take too long to make them.

"Hnnn, but I also want to take a walk with you. I enjoy our walks together." She then goes to try and hand him the majority of the bags. "Please go and put these away while I cook. That way we can go on our walk sooner rather than later~" With that small order, she goes to start working on the ribeye, while also turning on the oven to cook her dish in."

Saga simply just don't think about other females. For now, in his thoughts, he was grateful for this second chance at life, and it's a good life, and his life completely belongs to her. He was lonely whenever she's gone, so he simply waited, and that's why he's happy again when she comes home.

With a happy wag and panting, still a feral in his mind, and not well-trained to be behave human-like, like the other pets. His emerald eyes follow her with so much love. "Okay, a walk with you...and then eat. I like teriyaki sauce?"

He's getting to used walking with her on a leash, and to him, he feels proud because that leash connects to his collar and her taking the lead. With a nod, he obeys, putting away the groceries to the best that he could where they belong, learning the names of the food items she bought.

He waited and sniffed, "Smells good~. I can't wait to eat."

She was still shocked and surprised that he picked her to be his owner. There were multiple better choices than her but yet he picked her. She can only pray that he won't regret his choice at all.

She didn't mind that he didn't quite behave human-like as it made it easier for her to see him as a wolf and not a man. "That sounds like a good plan, Saga but I think we should eat first." She nods as he makes mention of what sauce he likes and goes to fetch it. She then goes to pour it into a bowl and puts the ribeye into it, letting it soak in the sauce.

The walks were always fun as she can sense his pride and besides cuddling, they were one of the main activities for canine type of pets. It didn't take her long before she was cooking the ribeye and baking her own dinner in the oven. "I hope it will be good, Saga."

She goes now to just pet him before trying to coach him into laying down. Hopefully he will recognize that the reward for this will be belly rubs and a small amount of cuddling before she will need to flip the steak over.

There isn't really much of a choice at all because Saga doesn't think about them. He picks Leanne because she's kind and nice, and Saga can feel her love for him since the day they met. His mind is making Leanne happy, chasing away racoons and squirrels and birds, chasing away the other smelly human males that smell like her workplace and scaring them, getting his delicious meat dinner and the sauces, and spending time with her. To him, Leanne is his world.

Is dinner ready yet? It seems like it's ready! He wags his tail excitedly as the scent of the meat impacted his senses, getting excited about it, and when it's ready, his stomach growls.

The belly rubs and cuddles always feel good, but he hopes when it's time for sleep, she'll do more of it. He obeyed, lying down, and waited until dinner is ready. "Is it ready yet?" He can't wait to eat, though he can't grasp using a knife and fork to dig in that steak as he still eats with his hands.

She did love him from the first day they met. She was an animal lover and held the belief that all animals should be loved. He gave her so much peace of mind and protection, even if it was over just a silly squirrel and birds. Leanne never wanted to see him like that ever again, so sickly and skinny and on the verge of death. Those memories still broke her heart thinking about them.

Another giggle escapes her as he obeys her command and she moves in to give him belly rubs. "Almost, it still has to cook a little on the other side, my silly handsome wolf." More belly rubs and cuddles, giving his forehead a small kiss before she gets back up to go and flip the meat. She will let it cook for a lesser amount of time before removing it off of the heat and setting it on a plate to let it rest, pouring more of the sauce over it.

"Just a few more minutes, Saga." She calls out to him as she pulls her meal out of the oven and lets it cool along with the meat. "Lets go and set the table.

Hopefully, he doesn't have to go through like that state of existence anymore. He's a pet now. He lives with her now, and she doesn't have to live alone. His presence alone adds a brand new warmth to her home, and living side by side with her, it's a brand new experience of company and comfort.

His body started to react to her belly rubs and kisses. He wanted more of that, though the warmth feeling and pangs in his chest he can't explain, except he likes it. A lot. And he wants her to continue to do that to him. What is this feeling that he has for her since the first met? He can't put his paw on it...

At her command, Saga looks a little hesitant. "Set table...?" He'll try, since it's a human thing, and he tries to pick up the dishes and the utensils, and don't drop them at least, and placed them neatly on the table. He had done so slowly without an accident and the table is all set by the time the meat is all done and well-cooked. "There. I set the table." He smiles and wags, waiting for praises from her, that he did a good job.

She will do whatever she can to make sure that he never goes through that state of existence anymore. Even if she ended up with lesser amount of food, as long as he is well fed, then she will be happy.

Leanne doesn't notice or realize the effect of her affections was having on him. He was just a pet. Nothing more, nothing less. A pet and a good companion and protector.

When dinner was ready, she looks and sees the table was perfectly set, she couldn't help but to beam a little. "That is perfect! Good job Saga!" And he will get more pets and even a kiss on the cheek along with a few more lines of praises. Eating at a set table was a human thing but it is one that she will try to instill into Saga. Just because it makes it feel more formal to her. "You are becoming more and more clever and smart, Saga."

He has no idea either or how to find the words to describe it. It's the belly rubs, the kisses, and cuddles. Those little things of affection...he likes it, but it's more than like.

"Really? I did a good job? I did a good job!" He wags his tail excitedly. "Clever and smart..." Wolves can learn, they are intelligent animals. For now, all the little things she does and showed him, he's learning bit by bit. He hasn't learned proper manners yet, so saying thank you isn't a lesson learned...yet.

Since it's time to eat, he sat at the table, and when she gives the okay, he...well, his table manners is something she needs to train him on and leaves much to be desired, as he picks it up and snarfs it down, taking big bites with his fangs. Living on the streets for so long, he is used to eating by hands and by fangs. Utensils is not a skill on the streets. He eats and drinks so fast, the steak was gone so quick. "That was delicious, Leanne." He said, with such innocence in those emerald eyes.

"Walk now?" He asked, expecting that walk she promised. All of that walks, he looks forward to them, as it helps him build a complete trust in her.

"Yes you did, Saga. You did such a good job!" So much praising for the simple task of setting the table. One day she will teach him about please and thank you. But for now, some of the basics need to be taught and the others will come up as the need arise.

She goes to eat her dish at a slower pace than him. It... It has taken her some time to get used to the sight of him eating with his hands and fangs. "You are going to choke on your food if you keep eating it so fast. You can slow down, no one will steal it."

Then such innocence. She feels her heart melting with the look in his eyes right now. "Not yet, I need to finish eating first. But you can grab our coats and your leash and it will make it easier to go once I am done."

She only had a couple bites left before she can put it away as a leftover but she did want to teach him some patience. Some.

It will take a lot of patience to teach him, but it will be worth it in the end. He was an eager learner. Living with her, it's not so bad, and he doesn't want to live on the streets ever again. For so long, he wants to understand what humans do, what their pet person do, so he can be like them too. So far, he's getting it, their ways and customs.

At her cue, he slows down, eating slowly, and then licking his fingers. "Okay..." Guilty look now. If she knows what were his eating habits on the streets, where finding food is almost equal to a street fight, yes food gets stolen, that's the way of life. At least, when it comes to drinking water, he drinks out of a glass the way she does, but still uses his tongue to lap it up.

With a nod, he will wait for her to finish and done, and by the time dinner is done, he did as she asks. He wears his coat and brought the leash with his mouth, and brought it to her. Taking a walk was his favorite activity, so he can learn the shops and neighborhood while going out for long walks...and it was the same shops and neighborhood he had seen when he was living out on the streets, so it's a huge difference from a pet's perspective.

Wagging his tail, waiting for her to connect the leash to his collar. "Walk? Walk now?"

She has the patience to teach him, even just one thing and one day at a time. She chuckles at the sight of his guilty look and shakes her head.

"Saga... Dont look like that. Its okay, just slow down a little. You are safe in here amd so is your food." She could only guess what it was like for him out on the streets. She didn't quite care for his table manners as for now, getting him to slow down is the most important thing.

She smiles as he brings her the leash and she goes to kiss him on the cheek as a reward for bringing her the leash. "My good boy..."

And okay, she couldnt help but to laugh at how excited he was getting over the walk. She loves him, loves him so much as she goes to connect the leash to his collar. "Yes, now we can go. You have waited long enough for one."

The city was definitely in route but perhaps also the park as well. Just to enjoy its beauty at night.

As they walked out, Saga happily followed her at her heels, following her lead on the chosen route walking through the city and the park where they can meet other owners and their dogs, and never walk too far ahead of her, as he learns to follow at her own pace.

He was naturally curious about the world around him. At the very least, if they ever enter shops, nobody is chasing him out, because Leanne can bring him inside, and all the shop owner will see is a handsome looking very big dog that towers over Leanne by a few feet. Before, he would be chased out, if hangs outside too long, being a mangy looking mutt.

He will walk for as long wherever Leanne feel like taking him. When in the park, with the full moon out. "Leanne, look. A full moooon tonight~. It's beautiful, like you." He said, howling nice and low, almost musical, so he wouldn't frighten the other people in the park.

She smiles as the walk commences and he takes his position in front of her. She giggles as he just explores the world around with such curiousity.

They did visit a couple of shops to pick up a couple of drinks and snacks for their walk. The park was extra beautiful this night.

Hearing his howls was nice to hear but then she blushes at his words. "Thank you for your kind words, Saga." So much blushing. "You are far more beautiful than someone like myself."

She sighs and looks up at the full moon. "You can howl louder if you like."

It was a good night and a good walk. Always in a good mood after a good walk with drinks and snacks.

Tilting his head, confused. He frowns a bit. He did watch a few movies as to how a man compliments a woman, so he's trying it, and trying to mean it. "Me beautiful? No, you are beautiful."

Still, wagging his tail. "I'll sing a song for you~." And then taking a deep breath, he howls at the moon, a long, deep, and baritone note for all to hear.

After the song is finished, and a few howls later. "I said to the moon that Leanne is a most beautiful woman to own me~." And he gives her a wolfy kiss on her cheek.

She goes to nod her head and smiles at him. "Yes, beautiful. There were a lot of women who were checking you out while we were at the store."

And now, she goes to blush even more as he keeps insisting that she was beautiful. She was about to object again but then he starts howling and... It sounded so beautiful to listen to.

The blush was never going to fade from her cheeks and her temperature heats up a little at the wolfish kiss. "Saga...." She moves a hand to reach up and pet him. "You are such a sweet soul." She sighs out and closes her eyes as she just focuses on petting him.

"You are still far fairer than I. Especially with your eyes and your mane of hair... You only grow more and more beautiful and handsome day by day. I love you, my feral wolf."

"Huh? They do? I didn't know." He scratched his head, trying to think. Trying to think intensely. Thinking i hard. "They're not as wonderful as you. They don't feed me, pet me, and give me a place to stay and sleep like you do. I guess they're nice women, but you're the nicest of them all. They're not as warm and a good cook like you."

When the song is over, he looks at her to see if she likes it, while catching his wind from singing his howling song. When she pets him. "Did you like it?"

He becomes wide-eyed when she said she loves him. That's it. That was it. That's the feeling he has for her everything she touches him, gives him belly rubs, and cuddles with him, and gives him hugs. It was love.

Shaking his head, "Leanne, no, no.... You are the most beautiful because you are kind and nice to me, and I want to protect you and hug you always. I love you, Leanne." He gives her a hug, hugging her petite frame close to his big muscular body, holding her close, while nuzzling on her blonde hair, and place kisses on her hair, and licks her cheeks, giving her comfort. "I love you, love you, love you~." A soft howl and wolfy whimper on her hair. "I love all of yooou~."

"Yes, they do but don't worry about it. Just know that you are catching the eyes of both human and pet females just about everywhere you go." She chuckles before blushing even more. "You are the one who chose to stay even before you really tried my cooking. I just heated up leftovers for you that night."

It... It was starting to get harder to see him as a wolf and not a man right now. Especially with all the compliments and kind words he is saying. The howl was a nice break and made her remember just what he is. "I loved it, it was so beautiful to listen to."

The reaction he gave to her words, she never could have expected it as she lets out a soft surprise sound as he speaks and then hugs her, holding her so close to himself and giving her so much affection. Though she couldn't help but to giggle at his softer howl.

"Just as a pet towards their owner or mates?" She had to know. A small petite hand lifts up and goes to start petting his head again as he holds and licks her. She did love him at least like a pet though at times it changed to as a man whenever she forgotten that he was a wolf.

Before he could answer the question, she lets out a small sigh and smiles at him. "We should start heading back home." Before any human males try and get brave due to being drunk with her.

"They are nice, but you're the best of them all. And I wanted to stay with you." He said. "With you, it's always warm and I don't have to be alone."

At her question, he gives her that confused look again, because he's struggling for words to describe his feelings. "I don't know..I just love you. A lot. Mates? I think so. That's the word for two people who love each other, I thik?"

Still, smiling cheerfully as he leans to her touch and he paws through her hair. "I love you. You love me. My mate." He reached that logic and conclusion. So simple.

He would never let that happen to her. He will protect her with his life. "Okay, let's go home and take a bath." He ruffed and followed at her heels to head straight toward home. Hopefully, they can take a bath together, a bath with her wolf, and that would wash the stress of her day away.

The blush was never going to fade from her face. "No, you don't have to be alone, not with me around." That was the one thing she promised him. That she would never leave him alone ever again.

And yup! That was all the cues she needed to know how much he loved her. "If you do not know, then perhaps you should think about it a little more." She spoke softly so that her words could carry a little bit more weight.

But then he goes to reach the simple conclusion and looked so happy about it. Was something so life changing can be so simple?

She couldn't help but to let out a soft chuckle as she just smiles up at him. He was so affectionate with her and almost straight from the beginning, except for that first growl.

"A bath does sound nice, Saga." And now a even deeper blush. "My mate." She then goes start walking back, smiling a little at his ruff, still feeling completely and utterly safe in his presence that she doesn't bother keeping an eye on her surroundings.

"Who should be the first one to take a bath?"

To think, but thinking is hard. But okay, he'll promise to think about it. As it was on his mind why it always feels good to praised by her, touched by her, and be petted by her. But that's the word he was looking for. That the feeling he has for her is Love.

"Bath, shower." It's Saga most favorite past-time. He learns he enjoys being clean and if there is any pet shame of his, he will use up all the expensive soaps and liquid soaps that she brought home from the bath and body shop.

When they made it home and he made over the front door, "Me!" He said. "I'll go first!" And undresses until he's naked, growling as he removes his clothes and pants.

But then he pauses, realizing he was being selfish, wanting the bathroom to himself. "Does Leanne wanted to go first?" Too late, he already asked being naked already.

One day, she would make those pet shaming signs. Especially since she almost have to make multiple trips during the week to restock her soaps. But at least she wont have to worry about fighting him about baths.

She was about to say something about just how excited he was to get home. Only to lets out a small surpirsed sound as suddenly he was naked and she quickly covers her eyes.

"Sa-Sa-Saga!!!" She was bright red and quickly covers her eyes. She does not want to see his manhood or wolfhood all proud and in full view.

"You... You can go first." So much blushing and she goes to quickly close the door behind her.
